Extended Gliding Lesson Course - prices from £145 to £229

Take to the skies on a gliding lesson at the controls of a K13 or K21 training glider and experience the peace, tranquillity and exhilaration of thermal drifting. Following a safety briefing, you'll accompany your BGA licensed instructor to the cockpit of the dual controlled glider, capable of flight at 48 knots. Once familiar with the controls and instruments of the glider, and safely strapped in, the glider is hooked to a tug aircraft and towed up to an altitude of 2000 feet.
At this point, the pilot pulls the release handle and the glider is flying free! When you are ready, the pilot hands control of the glider over to you. Together you'll search the skies for the perfect thermal to keep you airborne for longer, before gently drifting back to the airfield for a perfect landing. And don't forget to take a camera on your gliding lesson - the views are fantastic at 2000 feet!
