Floating through the skies in virtual silence - gliding is the ultimate in relaxed flying and certainly an ambition of many people to achieve. This is your chance to fly!
After receiving your full briefing on the flight ahead, its time to climb aboard and strap in! Your glider will be hooked up to a tug aircraft and towed to 2000 feet, far better than short winch launch experiences. Watch as the tug pulls you and your instructor way up into the blue. At 2000 feet the instructor will pull the release handle so that you experience the unique pleasures of gliding. Your instructor will demonstrate the controls before you take control yourself and search around the skies for the odd thermal to keep you up longer! Soon it will be time to return to the airfield by floating down for a perfect landing.
