Try both forms of flight in one day - a helicopter flying lesson as well as an aeroplane flying lesson. This experience will blow your mind. After a full briefing on the principles of flight and effects of controls, you will have the opportunity to take off for a 30 minute dual control flying lesson, in a 2 seat training aircraft for a flying lesson where you will learn the skills of turning, climbing and descending, all under the watchful eye of your pilot instructor. After returning back to the airfield and taking a short break to reflect on your flight it's off for a helicopter flying lesson.
Helicopters are magical machines capable of forward, sideways and backwards flight. Your instructor will bring the machine up into the hover and demonstrate its amazing flight ability. You will also have the opportunity to take the controls and try your hand at hovering - it is much more difficult than it looks!

- A full safety briefing on both flying machines.
- Pre-flight briefing on effects of controls and principles of flight.
- A 30 minute flying lesson each in a helicopter and an aircraft.

Participants Requirements for the Planes and Choppers Flying Experience
- Flying experiences are subject to weight and height restrictions.
- Maximum height 6' 3", maximum weight 16 stone.
- All flying experiences are suitable for guests aged 12 years old and over.

- Liverpool (Merseyside) - High Wycombe (Buckinghamshire)
- Total flight time is 60 minutes.
- Allow up to 2 hours at the airfield
Spectators
- Your friends and family are welcome to come along with you and most of our airfields have good snack facilities.
PLEASE NOTE
- Flying is totally weather dependant, so inclement conditions or bad visibility will cause the postponement of your flight, but don't worry as it will be rescheduled as soon as is practical.
