The Hovercraft Experience allows you to learn the skills required to drive one of these unique crafts including good balance, fine judgement and forward thinking. The craft you drive is a thoroughbred Formula 25 racer with a proven winning pedigree. Expertly designed, they have been created to provide you with a strong, safe machine that will provide all the thrills of driving, but without the risks.
So put your skills to the test in your own single seat hovercraft, and ride around a purpose built land course. A great experience for any speed freak!

Hovercraft Experience: INCLUDED
- Following a safety briefing and demo, you'll learn the basics of flying these exciting machines (under supervision) - and quickly learn that it's not as easy as the instructors make it look!
- Having mastered control of your craft, you will move to the Hover Cross track - flying the hovercraft over land and water around the track.
- We then stop for a quick break and refreshments
- To end the day every person (1 at a time) completes 1 lap of the track to enter into our flying fish challenge with the fastest time of the year being presented with a free day to spend with us again. You will also be presented with a certificate from the day with us.
- Please allow up to 2.5 hours at the track
Hovercraft Experience: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum height 5'. Maximum 6' 6".
- 18 stone maximum weight.
- Minimum age is 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Friends and family are welcome to watch your hovercraft half a day experience, but no dogs please.
Hovercraft Experience: SUITABLE CLOTHING
- Wear comfortable old clothes and bring something dry to change into, as hovercraft racing can be a wet and muddy experience!
Hovercraft Experience: PLEASE NOTE
- If your hovercraft racing half a day is cancelled due to poor weather, you will be offered a choice of dates to rebook.
